    We are looking for someone who is bright, experienced and driven to join our fast-paced marketing team, and be instrumental in helping us build out our global B2B marketing strategy for 2018/2019.

     

    The Senior Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for creating content to fuel our demand generation programs, raising brand awareness, and identifying opportunities to place content through various channels including partners and earned or paid media.

     

    This individual is great at developing and nurturing relationships both internally and externally, to build out a “tribe” of contributors across our business and our industry. Working across multiple programs from email marketing to webinars, to digital campaigns, and creating compelling pitch decks, the person in this role will drive our thought leadership agenda in the digital marketing and analytics space.

    The desired candidate ideally has the ability to work with internal and external subject matter experts to develop, activate, and measure content that generates demand for our business. Strong writing and communication skills are a must - both verbal and written - with a proven track-record in translating tech and marketing concepts into compelling marketing stories and content.

    Responsibilities

    • Increase brand awareness by raising our profile within the analytics and digital marketing space as a thought leader across social media, conferences, industry publications, web, and other platforms.
    • Work with Director, Demand Generation, to plan and execute on lead-gen programs including email marketing, webinars, and live events.
    • Be a strategic planner in addition to being involved with day-to-day engagement with media and working within the marketing team and across other departments to generate content for a variety of channels
    • Be the point person for industry conferences and events and spearhead speaking opportunities
    • Measure, report and optimize key marketing communications activities
    • Drive both inbound and outbound sales efforts with compelling copy for campaigns including scripts, emails, and presentations.
    • Manage resources including designers, web developers, sales & marketing specialist, SMEs and thought leaders to produce industry-leading content efficiently and to a high standard
    • Generate new ideas and continuously look for ways to position our company as an industry-leader
    • Drive engagement and build community across Cardinal Path’s social media channels

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in a marketing and communications role
    • Self-starter, results oriented, extremely tenacious and well organized
    • Strong written skills required and experience in developing high-impact content
    • Strong and confident communicator, particularly on the phone
    • Expertise in navigating third-party, partner and press relationships
    • Excited about a high-growth, award-winning company in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
    • Experience with marketing analytics, social media, content marketing, and demand generation
    • Marketo skills an asset
